They are long and delicate flowers, making them perfect for creating shape in your arrangements. They’re good for both table centres and bouquets. The buds which won’t typically open, but they are great for things like buttonholes.

How they arrive

Lisianthus arrive in bunches of 10.

Lisianthus will arrive with multiple stems on one main stem and leaves. They often have 1 to 3 flowering heads, depending on if they are the single or double variety. They will come with lots of buds which will not open.

The flower can often arrive looking flat. This is purely due to being in transit. Once it has been conditioned correctly, it will open up nicely.

How to condition

Carefully unwrap the flower, stem by stem. Gently remove the leaves from the stem.

We generally recommend snipping the stems apart, but make sure they’re placed in the appropriate vase.

Snip the stem at an angle as usual.
