Our Sustainability Mission
We believe that every individual and every business must take their carbon footprint seriously. That is why we have teamed up with Ecologi.
What do Ecologi do?
Ecologi believes that everyone should have access to the best solutions to save our planet. They facilitate the funding of carbon offset projects and tree planting around the world. Their mission is to reduce 50% of global CO2 emissions by 2040 and responsibly plant billions of trees every year. Ecologi is a platform for real climate action.
They call on individuals & businesses to take personal responsibility and help tackle the biggest threat of our generation. Collectively, with a little input from a lot of people, we have the power to secure our future.

Our Flowers
We believe it is important to be as transparent as possible with our customers. The vast majority of the floral industry within the UK, import flowers from growers based in the Netherlands, as well as Ecuador, Kenya and Ethiopia. Approximately only 14% of the flowers sold in the UK and grown within Britain.
Why do you import your flowers?
At the moment, the majority of British-grown flowers are sourced from independent small flower farms. These flowers are grown within the months of March/April and October (weather depending), meaning British-grown flowers are not available for approximately 6 months of the year. A lot of the UK flower farms work on small-scale productions and only service to small independent local florists. The majority of these flowers are not reliable enough to ship within a courier system.
The premise of our business, is to make creating your own flowers as easy as possible. That is why we source high-quality, wedding-grade flowers which are easy to condition and are reliable enough to last for the days leading up to your wedding, and beyond.
What to do with the packaging?
As a business, we do not provide additional, unnecessary packaging, which is why our flowers are shipped direct from the growers, in the growers own packaging. Some of these growers use plastic to protect their flowers, which may be surprising and feel unnecessary. Whilst we are looking to work with these growers to come up with sustainable packaging methods, Recycle Now show you where to recycle plastic waste responsibly in your area.
Can I compost flower waste?
When you condition your flowers, there will be a lot of green stems and foliage. As a general rule, yes the waste can be composted, but make sure any plastic bands, tape etc. are removed before doing so.
